How to read the results

Monthly price is what the carrier quotes for your selected amount, term and health tier, on a monthly pay schedule. Rate class identifies the underwriting category the quote reflects; the carrier will confirm or adjust this during underwriting. Exam shows whether the carrier anticipates a paramedical exam; many accelerated plans skip this for qualifying applicants. A.M. Best reflects the carrier's financial stability grade.
